I am a Business
-
Pick "Create an account" and choose "Business". Provide your company name and contact details. You'll need to:
1. Sign the platform contract
2. Add a payment method
3. Be verified by admin
Until all three are complete, you can browse the platform but can't post shifts or hire workers.
-
Admin reviews business applications within 1–2 business days. You can sign the contract and add a payment method while waiting.
-
Workers need to know who's hiring them. The platform stakes its reputation on every business having gone through a basic vetting process.
-
Yes — verified or not, you can browse the worker directory and see what's available. You just can't post shifts or hire until you're fully verified.
-
We offer flexible pricing based on project type and complexity. After an initial conversation, we’ll provide a transparent quote with no hidden costs.
-
On the Company Dashboard, click "Add Shift". Fill in:
- A title for the shift (e.g. "Apartment Move", "Office Cleaning")
- Job type (Moving, Cleaning, etc.)
- Date and time
- Location
- Number of workers needed
- Hourly rate you'll pay
- Any special notes (parking, equipment provided, dress code).
The shift goes live immediately and appears in the Browse Shifts tab for every verified worker.
-
Yes — the form lets you add up to 10 shifts on the same day in one go.
-
This is being designed but not yet built. Currently you post each shift individually.
-
Yes. From the Calendar or List View, click on the shift to edit times, rate, notes, or delete it entirely.
-
You can — but bear in mind workers may have planned around it. If anyone has an accepted bid, deletion cancels their accepted shift; you should contact them first.
-
Every verified worker sees every open shift on their Browse Shifts tab.
They bid on shifts they want to work, including the hourly rate they're asking for.
-
The Offers tab on your Company Dashboard shows every pending bid, grouped by shift. You see the worker's name, their rating, their job history on the platform, and the rate they're asking
-
Click "Accept" next to the bid. The worker is immediately notified and the spot is filled.
-
Click "Decline". The worker is notified. They can bid on other shifts.
-
No. If you posted a shift needing 3 workers and only 1 is enough on the day, you can simply accept 1 bid and ignore the rest. They'll be marked "unfilled" when the shift starts. Same the other way — if no one bids, the shift just goes unfilled.
-
The Find Workers tab shows every verified worker, with filters for job type. You can view their profile, ratings, and history
-
Yes — workers self-report their experience level per job type ("Just starting / Some experience / Experienced"). This appears alongside their bid. It's self-reported, not platform-verified — but it's a useful signal alongside their rating.
-
Workers clock in when they arrive and clock out when they finish. This creates a timesheet you can review.
-
Within 24 hours after the shift ends, review the timesheet and either:
- Sign it if the hours and rate are correct.
- Edit it if you need to dispute (e.g. worker clocked in 30 min late; agreed rate was different).
- Mark the worker as a no-show if they didn't appear.
Once signed, the platform processes payment to the worker.
-
You'll get reminders at 3, 12, and 18 hours after the shift ends. If you still haven't acted by 24 hours after the shift end, the system automatically treats unsigned timesheets as no-shows. **This penalises the worker even if they showed up.** Don't let this happen — set aside time after every shift to handle the paperwork.
-
A dispute opens. Admin reviews and decides what the corrected hours and rate should be. Both your original entry and the corrected value are kept on record.
-
Yes. After a shift completes, leave a rating (1–5 stars) and a comment.
Your review is visible to other businesses considering that worker — but anonymously. They see the rating and comment, not which business wrote it.
-
Yes — on the worker's profile, you'll see their reviews from other businesses, anonymised. You'll also see their average rating.
-
A 1-star "cancellation penalty" review means the worker either cancelled a shift within 24 hours of the start time, or no-showed. The platform applies these automatically. Treat them as a signal: a worker with several recent penalties is a higher risk than one without.
-
Sometimes — workers can dispute penalties if they have a legitimate reason (illness, emergency, business never recorded their clock-in). Admin reviews and can void the penalty. Voided penalties don't count toward the worker's average rating.
-
Yes — penalty reviews are labelled as such on the worker's profile. You can distinguish a worker who has one customer-given low rating from one who's been unreliable about showing up.
-
Shift·Link takes a per-hour platform fee from each shift, applied at the time of payment. The fee structure is shown on your dashboard and in your invoices
-
Yes — the Business Incentive Program rewards businesses for repeated use.
As you complete more shifts on the platform, you progress through tiers that reduce your per-hour fee. This is automatic — you don't need to opt in.
-
Payment for shifts is processed automatically when you sign the timesheet. The payment method on your account is charged for the worker's pay plus the platform fee.
-
This is being designed. Currently a business has one account with one user. The intent is to allow multiple users with role-based access (a scheduler, a manager, a billing contact).
-
A different account type for staffing agencies (a business that bids its workers onto shifts at other businesses) is being scoped.
-
Yes. Like worker accounts, your business details are anonymized after 90 days. Shift history is retained for accounting purposes with your name removed.
